According to MacUser, reports are coming in that after a recent 1.1 firmware update, there are, “complaints about the iPod shooting electrical pulses through its headphone and docking ports, which might be enough to damage your insanely expensive pair of headphones.”
I can remember a couple of years ago people were reporting static electricity issues with our favorite mp3 players. Looks like the shock factor is back.
